Loading the mark
This is a visualisation, not a physical simulation. It draws the Cavelux mark with two textbook equations: the spreading width of a free-particle Gaussian wave packet, σ(t) = σ₀√(1 + (ħt / 2mσ₀²)²), and the hydrogen 2pz probability density, |ψ₂ₚ|² ∝ r² e−r/a₀ cos²θ, masked by the mark's silhouette. The constants are picked for the screen and distances are in voxels. Pointing at the mark stands in for a measurement.
Packets within R of the pointer's ray collapse. R is in voxels; the object radius is 20.6.
Split view needs a wider screen.
Motion is reduced on this device, so this is a still frame of the solid mark. The wave and orbital modes animate and are switched off.
Keys: 1, 2, 3 modes · S split · Space pause · R reset. Drag to orbit, wheel to zoom; with the canvas focused, arrow keys orbit and + and − zoom.
